Group therapy changes lives! Why join a group? Most of the people that come to my office struggle with relationships in some form. Group allows people to work on interpersonal skills without the risk that comes with this kind of work in everyday life. I always tell people that group is kind of like a lab, where we study what may be going on for you interpersonally, including how your relational history may be affecting your current relationships. In a group, you will learn how to be honest and direct with your feelings toward others. You will also receive ongoing support from other members who are committed to your personal growth. I currently have openings in an ongoing mixed-gender psychotherapy group that meets on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30pm, an ongoing mixed-gender group that I co-lead with Anna Graybeal, Ph.D. on Mondays from 6:30-8pm, an ongoing mixed-gender group that I co-lead with Anna Graybeal, Ph.D. on Wednesdays from 12-1:30pm, and an ongoing gay and bisexual men’s group on Mondays from 4:30-6pm.
